CL7a is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone featuring a 1.1-inch gold-sputtered diaphragm with a 3 micron thickness. It delivers a 20 Hz - 20 kHz response with a smooth, balanced character. It handles high SPLs up to 147 dB and includes a 10 dB pad and a switchable 100 Hz high-pass filter. Powered by 36-52 V phantom power, it uses a 3-pin XLR output and internal shock mounting in a die-cast body; a mic swivel is included.
