The Sachtler Vario Ped 1-70 OB is a fully steerable, two-stage pneumatic pedestal for live and outside-broadcast production. It supports payloads up to 70 kg and provides a height range from 69.5 to 150.5 cm, including a 41 cm on-shot stroke. The pedestal has an integral manual pump, external pressure inlet, pressure gauge, six trim weights, crab and steer operation, wheel locks, and detachable dolly with 16 cm OB wheels.
