The Sachtler C III is a manually operated camera pedestal for studio and location filming. It consists of a telescopic air column and Dolly XL with a flat base mount, castor wheels, steering locks and track locks. The pedestal offers a height range of 71.5 to 157 cm, a 42 cm on-shot stroke and a maximum payload of 55 kg. A manual pump is included for adjusting column pressure. Compatible heads include Sachtler DV 10, DV 12, Video 15, Video 18/20, Video 25 Plus, Video 60 Plus and Video 75 Plus.
