The Datapath Express11-G3 backplane provides 11 x8 PCI Express slots, each implemented as an x16 physical connector. It can be used with a standard PICMG 1.3 SBC as a standalone system or in combination with multiple backplanes to form a PCI Express expansion system for a standard PC. The backplane uses PCIe Gen.3 switches to deliver up to 8 GB/s bidirectional bandwidth per slot and supports star and daisy-chain configurations for large-scale, low-latency PCIe expansion.
