The Barix IP Former TPA400 is a PoE-powered IP audio decoder and speaker amplifier for converting passive loudspeakers into network loudspeakers. Its single screw-terminal output provides 5 W RMS at 4 ohms and supports 4 to 8 ohm speakers. The unit supports SIP, HTTP, RTP and UDP audio transport, with MP3, AAC, PCM, G.711, G.722, GSM, Opus, WAV and OGG Vorbis formats. Configuration is performed through an internal web interface.
