MFL is a modular wideband RF-over-fiber link using CWDM to transport up to four RF channels on a single fiber. A 19-inch, 1U mainframe accepts four plug-in boards (TX or RX), enabling flexible configurations including mixed TX/RX and redundant arrangements. Features include a real-time clock with backed-up RAM, RF level monitoring to prevent fiber saturation, digitally tunable filters (BF1, F41/F42/F45), Ethernet remote control, and configurable power options.
