MCM306 is a super-cardioid microphone head incorporating a custom DPA capsule for speech and vocal use. It offers a smooth 40 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, a maximum SPL of 154 dB SPL at less than 0.5% THD, and an 8 dB attenuation switch. A frameless, stainless-steel two-stage micro-mesh pop filter and integrated vibration damping reduce noise and plosives. Equivalent noise is 26 dB-A (DIN/IEC 651).
