Samson MLI1 is a passive mono line-level isolation box designed to eliminate hum from ground loops and to convert unbalanced signals to balanced for long cable runs. It uses the Samson STL transformer to isolate input from output and a ground-lift switch to remove the ground path. Housed in a 14-gauge steel chassis, it offers input on a XLR-1/4 inch combo and outputs on XLR and 1/4 inch TRS, with a 10 Hz to 35 kHz ±0.2 dB frequency response.
