MD1 is a passive mono direct box that uses Samson's STL transformer to deliver a flat, extended frequency response with ultra-low distortion. It accepts a 1/4" unbalanced input and provides a balanced XLR mic-level output. A parallel Thru path lets you send the input to an amp or monitor without affecting the original signal. No phantom power or battery required; rugged 14-gauge steel chassis; 18 Hz-40 kHz.
