The CL8 original is a true capacitor, large-diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphone with dual 1.1-inch gold-sputtered diaphragms. It offers switchable patterns (supercardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8), a 100 Hz high-pass filter and a switchable 10 dB pad. It operates on 36–52 V phantom power and features an internal shock mount, swivel stand mount and carry case in a rugged die-cast enclosure. The dual capsules yield a warm, detailed response suitable for vocals and instruments in studio environments.
