The Sachtler SR405 is a one-piece transparent rain cover designed for Mini DV and HDV video cameras. It combines transparent polyurethane, serviceable down to -20 °C, with waterproof nylon for visibility and protection. The cover provides access to camera controls and permits use of the flip-out LCD screen. A rigid front hood with hotshoe connector stabilizes it, while the exterior 6-inch ABS track supports attachment of a mini light.
