OMNITRONIC PORTY-8A is a UHF bodypack transmitter supplied with a headset microphone for wireless audio transmission. It operates on the license-free 863–865 MHz band in Europe and uses a fixed carrier frequency of 863.1 MHz. The system provides a wireless operating range of up to 60 m and has an RF power output of 10 mW. The detachable cable is 0.9 m long. The transmitter is black and weighs 0.14 kg.
