The OMNITRONIC DX-1522 is a passive three-way full-range speaker system for disco and live music. It contains a 15-inch woofer, piezo tweeter and horn driver. Its 16 mm wooden cabinet has black felt covering, steel protective corners and a metal grille. The speaker is rated at 400 W RMS and 800 W program, with a 30 Hz–18 kHz frequency range, 97 dB sensitivity and 8-ohm impedance. Two handles and a 35 mm flange support portable use.
