Datapath Express9 and Express9-G3 are 9-slot PCI Express backplanes that connect a PICMG 1.3 SBC host or remote host via HLink-G3/SLink-G3. Express9 uses PCIe 2.0; Express9-G3 uses PCIe 3.0 switches, delivering up to 4 GB/s on the main link and 8 GB/s between backplanes. The backplanes provide 1 x8 and 8 x4 expansion slots in x16 form, and can be daisy-chained for multi-backplane systems up to 41 slots.
