The HDbridge 2620-EU is an HD video encoder/QAM modulator designed for professional video distribution systems. It features two DIN inputs supporting up to 1080p Component video with digital/analog audio or VGA video with analog audio. The unit provides MPEG-2 QAM RF output for cable television distribution with support for Closed Captioning via composite input. Encoding parameters include variable bit rates of 10-24 Mbps, programmable latency (200-400 msec), and VGA resolution support up to 1280x960. Configuration is managed through a front panel color display and web-based interface via Ethernet connection. The device operates within standard broadcast specifications with 62,000-hour MTBF and 5-year warranty.
