The Plixus NEXT is an updated network extender for the Plixus conference system, enabling expansion of conference architecture with support for higher unit counts while providing network redundancy through dual-loop capability. Featuring a 40% lighter, 30% smaller design than its predecessor with 50% reduced power consumption, it includes two upstream ports to the control unit and four powered downstream ports with configurable powering options via DIP switch (16 combinations). The device supports daisy-chaining for large installations and operates with 1000 Mbps network speed on all ports, powered via 48 VDC WAGO connector with power dissipation of 7 W.
