The Tascam ML-16D is a compact 16-channel analog-to-Dante converter for bidirectional transmission of audio signals over IP networks. It features 25-pin Sub-D connectors for balanced line-level inputs/outputs with configurable reference levels (+4/+6 dBu). Dual Ethernet ports (Primary/Secondary) enable network redundancy. The device supports up to 96 kHz/24-bit audio, features individual channel signal and overload indicators, and operates with extremely low latency. Fully configured via Dante Controller software, it implements AES67 compatibility for interoperability with Ravenna systems and now supports SMPTE ST 2110-30 for broadcast environments. Designed for rack mounting (1U), it provides reliable audio transport for live sound, broadcast, and installation applications.
