The HDCE-100 is a Single-Mode Fiber Adapter for Sony's HSC and HDC Series cameras. It converts SMPTE-311M fiber connections for long-distance transmission to Single-Mode fiber. Providing power to the camera head, it enables outdoor operation without local power sources. For simple 4K live production systems without a Camera Control Unit, the HDCE-100 can power 4K live cameras via the BPU-4000 baseband processor. With dimensions of 145 x 124 x 365 mm and weighing approximately 4.0 kg, it fits standard 19-inch rack installations for professional broadcast environments.
