The VHD-8 is an 8x8 HDMI professional matrix switch designed for routing video sources to displays. It features eight HDMI inputs, four HDMI outputs, and eight HDBaseT outputs with Power over HDBaseT capability. The switch supports high-resolution video including 4K@30Hz, 1080P, and HD3D formats. It includes eight de-embedded stereo audio outputs and enables cross-point switching between any input and output. The device is HDCP 2.2 compliant, supports HDMI 1.4a and DVI 1.0 standards, and provides robust EDID management. HDBaseT outputs transmit video, IR, and RS232 signals up to 230 feet (70m) over Cat5e/Cat6 cable at 1080p resolution, or 130 feet (40m) at 4K. Control methods include front panel, RS-232, IR, and TCP/IP interfaces.
