The MM 225 is a 1/2" externally polarized measurement microphone utilizing the MK 221 capsule, designed for phantom-powered measurement systems. It delivers a frequency range of 3.5 Hz to 20 kHz (±2 dB), operating transfer factor of 50 mV/Pa at 250 Hz, and dynamic range from 15 dBA to 134 dB. Featuring a permanently attached 2-meter XLR cable and compatible with standard 1/2" accessories (windscreens, nose cones, drying adapters), it operates within -25°C to +100°C temperature range. Calibration is possible using Pistonfon Type 5002 or equivalent calibrators, making it suitable for precision acoustic measurements and reference applications requiring IEPE compliance per WS2F (DIN EN IEC 61094-4).
