The 12" SuperTower system is a square ground support structure designed to provide lifting capability for various Thomas truss systems including 20.5" x 20.5", Heavy Duty, SuperTruss, and Pre-rig configurations to Roof systems. Featuring forked connections for faster assembly and higher load capacity compared to bolted towers, this system supports truss rigs in venues where overhead flying points are insufficient or poorly positioned. Constructed from 6061T6 aluminum alloy with 2" diameter × 0.157" wall main chords and 1" diameter × 0.125" wall diagonals. Each tower can lift up to 4 tons (3,629 kg) to a maximum height of 40 feet (12.2 m), though when using a CM 1-ton hoist, the capacity reduces to 2 tons due to block and fall configuration. The truss rig is raised and lowered using electric chain hoists with the motor rigged in the truss working in double fall via a roller beam at the top of the tower.
