The Electro-Voice EVID-EC8.2 is a complete 8-inch coaxial two-way ceiling loudspeaker designed for permanent installations. It features a bezel-less design with easy-attach grille and front baffle wattage tap adjustment. The speaker offers transformer taps of 30W, 15W, 7.5W, 3.75W, and 1.88W (70V only) for flexible power management. With a frequency range of 75 Hz - 20,000 Hz and sensitivity of 92 dB SPL (1W, 1m), it delivers clear audio reproduction. Constructed with UL 94V-0 rated ABS baffle and heavy gauge coated steel enclosure, it's certified to UL 1480A, UL 2043, CSA C22.2 No. 205 and IEC 62368-1 standards. The low-profile design (302 mm x 198.8 mm) includes mounting hardware for easy installation in drop ceilings.
