EAW's LS432i line source loudspeaker system brings the classic column speaker up-to-date. Sophisticated frequency shading and all-pass filtering integrates the 4x 4-inch woofers and 3x 1-inch soft dome tweeters, maximizing line source coupling while eliminating grading lobes. The system maintains a nominal vertical coverage pattern of 20° to below 1000 Hz with an extra-wide 140° horizontal coverage. With its curved line source configuration, drivers form a gentle arc to prevent vertical pattern collapse in the crossover region while acting as direct radiators horizontally. The internal passive crossover uses complex, asymmetrical slopes for subsystem integration and critical equalization. This passive two-way column enclosure is designed for permanent installation only.
