The VANTEC-18 is a passive bass-reflex subwoofer system featuring the legendary 18LX low-frequency transducer with a 4-inch voice coil, mounted as a direct radiator. Constructed with birch plywood and ISO-flex black finish, it delivers a frequency range of 45 Hz to 138 Hz (-10 dB) with maximum peak SPL of 134 dB at 1 meter. Rated for 1000 W RMS power handling at 8 ohms impedance, the system connects via speakON NL4 connectors. Designed for biamped applications, it features ground-stackable capability, a top-mounted pole socket for full-range systems, and M10 rigging points. Protected by a rugged steel grille, the VANTEC-18 includes two bar handles for portability in live sound applications.
