The MATRIX-66 is a 2U rack-mounted signal distribution unit for ARA series sound systems. It features six balanced analog input channels via female XLR connectors and six analog output channels via male XLR connectors. The device incorporates a 1 Gbit Ethernet switch with 8 ports for distributing both analog audio signals and ALMA control data. It provides six etherCON outputs for audio and data distribution to connected ARA systems. Front panel controls allow for signal duplication across multiple outputs. Powered by universal mains (90-250 VAC), the unit consumes 30 W and weighs 3.4 kg with dimensions of 8.8 x 48.3 x 27.1 cm.
