AKG C 419PP is a miniature condenser pressure-gradient microphone designed for wind instruments (brass and woodwinds). It uses a hypercardioid pattern to maximize isolation from floor monitors and nearby players and is clipped to the bell with a rubber-tipped clamp and flexible gooseneck for precise capsule placement. The PP variant is phantom-powered with XLR output and a 3 m cable. Frequency response 20 Hz-20 kHz; impedance 200 Ω; max SPL 126 dB (1% THD); sensitivity ~6-7 mV/Pa.
