The ADA4 is a versatile 4-channel audio converter configurable as 4-channel A/D, 4-channel D/A, dual 2-channel A/D and 2-channel D/A, or AES synchronizer. It provides balanced analog I/O via XLR (one channel per connector) and AES/EBU digital I/O via XLR (two channels per connector) at 110 ohms. Supporting reference levels from +10dBV to +24dBu, it utilizes 24-bit converters with 48/96 KHz sampling. Configuration is managed through external dipswitches for channel modes and audio levels. This compact desktop unit (14.7 x 7.9 x 2.5 cm) operates on 5-18VDC power (3W) and functions reliably in environments from 0-40°C with 10-90% non-condensing humidity.
